Calculate Speed From Slide to Stop

A formula can be used to calculate the speed of a vehicle sliding to a stop. The basic forumla for this is:

S = √254 * D * F

S = speed (kph)
D = Distance (m)
F = friction value

The friction value the road surface offers the vehicle tyres.
