Crash Investigation
NZCI currently conduct investigations into motor vehicle crashes.
We complete in excess of 100 crash investigations per annum. These range from simple fender benders to serious crashes involving extensive investigation and analysis.
Our vehicle crash investigations are comprehensive and detailed, taking in all aspects of how a traffic crash may have occurred using qualified & experienced motor vehicle crash investigators.
We primarily base our inquiries around the following four factors;
- Roadway
- Driver
- Environment
- Vehicle
Car Accident Investigation
Our secondary objectives are to ascertain from these, why one or more of these factors caused a crash. For example where a driver is the causative factor, we investigate why? Is is as a result of fatigue from driving in excess of the legally required hours, drugs, alcohol, medication etc?
NZCI is fully equipped to deal with any scenario. We have available to us drug testing kits, specialised survey equipment, Road Surface Friction Testing equipment and software packages to assist us in our crash investigations.
